Is there any difference in terms of rights or preferences between a primary applicant and a secondary applicant while applying for a Canada PR visa?

Hi!  When an aspiring candidate is applying for a PR status and he is married or supports a family then his /her candidature is treated as a primary one and all other immigrants become the secondary candidates. While all the candidates need to have a proper medical check-up and police verification along with passports. There are certain criteria which only the primary candidate needs to accomplish for example reaching and adequate CRS score for eligibility.

Screening Time

Government of Canada for PR status has shown a favourability of candidates who are skilled and recently it has expressed an interest in more applications through Express Entry Program. The Screening time is generally 6 to 12 months and due to lenient immigration policies the process is generally smooth if the documentation is structurally and strategically provided.
